Baby's breath Crimson - 1200 seeds (Gypsophilla elegans)
Gypsophila Elegans Crimson - Annual gypsophila is one of the easiest flowers to grow from gypsophila seeds, adding a lot of beauty and complementing other flowers in the garden. Crimson Gypsophila is an annual plant that grows rapidly, blooms abundantly, and then dies. Many gardeners sequentially plant gypsophila seeds every 2 to 3 weeks to ensure a steady supply of colour and blooms for cut flowers in the garden. Gypsophila plants are fairly hardy and can tolerate some drought and light. It does well everywhere, from coastal areas to high altitudes; it's adaptable for the most part.
If you want to start the growing season sooner, sow gypsophila seeds indoors 4 to 6 weeks before the last expected frost. Using a seed tray and sterile potting soil, sow flower seeds on the surface and press into the soil. Gypsophila seeds need light to germinate, so don't cover too much. Transplant gypsophila seedlings into prepared soil in the garden when there are at least two true leaves. To sow gypsophila seeds directly outdoors, wait for temperatures to warm up, prepare the soil, sow the flower seeds, and then rake the soil lightly over the flower seeds, barely covering them. Always keep gypsophila seeds moist. Germination should occur within 10 to 20 days. Repeat sowing flower seeds every 2–3 weeks to keep them blooming throughout the growing season.
