Physalis peruviana fruit is a round, smooth berry, resembling a miniature yellow tomato growing up to 1 inch (2.5cm) wide. Removed from its calyx, it is bright yellow to orange in color. Goose berries plant is poisonous to humans and consumption is not advised.  Once planted these flowers will take care of themselves and relies on bees to pollinate them. Fantastic as a ornamental flower thanks to its unique looks.
