Sweet Sultan is an annual flowering plant that can grow to 30 inches (70 cm) tall. Cornflower have simple green leaves and a disk shaped flower head which looks fluffy and feathery. Centaurea Imperialis comes in a variety of colours such as blue to purple pink to red, yellow and white.  Sweet Sultan blooms from summer to autumn and grows best in well-drained soil and access to sunlight. Sweet Sultan is known to grow in cottage gardens and is well known for its sweet fragrance. Centaurea Imperialis is known for bouquets in weddings which makes them good cut flowers.
