Godetia Grandiflora is also called Clarkia, Farewell to Spring and Satin Flower. The name Clarkia comes from Captain Clark of the Lewis and Clark expedition. Clarkia flowers are native to the western portion of the United States, and they do very well in coastal climates growing in full sun. For best results, sow Farewell to Spring seeds directly outdoors into prepared soil after temperatures have warmed up. Sow the flower seeds directly into the ground or into pots.
