Foxglove is a short-lived perennial flowering plant but can be planted as a biennial plant. The foxglove will always be present in your garden as it self-seeds to produce new plants for the following year. Digitalis purpurea can grow to 60 inches and their leaves form a spiral display ranging in size. The flowers are eye-catching, that come in a rich purple colour.
