rue Lavender is native to England as its an annual flowering plant. English lavender can grow to 18 inches in height with bright bule/purple flowerheads that attracts bees and butterflies. Lavandula angustifolia stems open first then change to a blue/grey colour. English Lavender has a gentle therapeutic scent and look which will make your garden peaceful. Lavendula angustifolia vera can also be dried which makes it good cut flowers. True Lavender grows best in well drained soil and access to full sunlight.
