Pasque flower is a long time favorite of many flower gardeners, and it is often looked for around Easter. Some gardeners will sow Anemone flower seeds in autumn directly outdoors. Pasque Flower plants form low tufts or mounds of ferny green leaves, bearing crocus-like flowers with single to double fringed purple petals. They are hardy and drought tolerant once they are established and suitable for xeriscaping.
