Columbine Crimson Star - Highly attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies, this easy-to-grow Columbine seed mix is a wonderful addition to the summer border. Growing readily from Columbine flower seed, this Columbine red features large, 4 inch flowers. The foliage is also very special with its fancy-lobed, dusky blue-green leaves.

Five or six weeks after sowing the seeds, transplant the seedlings into 3 inch pots, and grow on in cooler temperatures with plenty of light. Harden young plants for 10 - 14 days before planting outdoors after last frost date.
