Purpletop vervain is a stunning hardy flower that is ideal for borders and summer bedding. Verbena bonariensis is a tall slender flower with beautiful purple flowers. Verbena is loved buy pollinators and birds that will bring life into your garden. It grows best in a full sun position but can be kept in lite shade. Purpletop vervain will self-sow but should be taken inside during winter as it may get damaged by frost. Leave dead stock inside until spring to avoid frost damage.
