Gherkin variety is a very reliable, early and productive cucumber, making lots of fruit. It used to be grown as a pickling cucumber (picked small as 'cornichons'). Dense, crisp flesh and characteristic bumpy skin are most pronounced when young and help maintain crispness in pickling. This variety is resistant to downy mildew and angular leaf spot.
Dill is a great short-lived annual herb that has ferny foliage which is highly attractive and most delicate. It will grow to approximate 34 inches tall.

Dill is an annual herb that can grow to 24 inches in height. Cucumbers can grow to 6ft tall as the curling vine spreads either across the ground or upright with a bit of help. Dill is a self-seeding herb which is easy to grow. Dill can attract beneficial insects to your garden and Cucumber may attract bees to the flowers. Both Dill and cucumber thrives full sunlight and well-drained soil. Cucumbers also prefer a humid moist place.
