Asparagus Precoce D’Argentuil is a perennial vegetable that can grow to 36 inches tall (90cm). The Asparagus D’Argentuil is well known with the French and has an excellent taste to it. The rose colour will progress over time when sowed for the first time. Asparagus D’Argentuil does take time to grow so patience will be important. Giant Dutch Purple has thick rose spears which has a tender top and excellent flavours. Vegetable asparagus seeds needs well drained soil and full access to sunlight for the best results. Giant Dutch Purple can be harvested after the third year of sowing the seeds.
