Chilli Pepper 'Bishops crown' is a variety of pepper that grows a highly decorative fruit. Bishops crown is a reasonably spicy pepper that won't blow your socks off but is great in cooking and can be chopped and added to foods. Bishops pepper also is known to lower cholesterol and contains immune boosting vitamins and antioxidants. Chilli pepper Bishops crown or other joker's hat produces 30 to 50 peculiar, three or four flat-winged, wrinkled pods. These somewhat flying saucer-like peppers grow to approximately 1.5 inches wide.  This variety is perfect for growing in containers as well as in gardens. Chilli pepper Bishops Crown seeds should be germinated in 22-24C (72-75F) on average germination should take 10-20 days. Bishops crown should be grown in direct sunlight.
