Native to America grown from the 17th Century this is your classic ground pumpkin. These immense heirloom connecticut pumpkins can weigh even up to 11 kilograms (25pounds) with a 12-20inch diameter these will stand out in any garden. These breath taking connecticut pumpkins were originally bread for seeds not sweet flesh making them ideal for soups and pies. when the season comes even for carving thanks to their strong flesh, flattened base and overall uniform shape. Connecticut heirloom pumpkins have a bright orange colour with a hard flesh with a fleshy inside.
