Black Radish is an annual plant that can grow to 20 inches. The root consists of a black skin with a white flesh. Black Radish is usually bigger than other spring radishes.  Raphanus Sativus are more peppery compared to the red radish. Black radish became a popular vegetable to grow in Britain in the 19th Century. Black Radish can be cooked like turnips or can be used in salads. Black Round can also be used to help with digestive systems, bile and gall bladder issues. The best time to harvest Kulata Cerna is from March-November.
