Aubergine Rotonda Sfumata di Rosa is a heirloom eggplant originating from Italy that produces magnificent striped teardrop-shaped fruit around 15-20 cm long with purple-lavender strips on a white skin.
The creamy white tender flesh is almost seedless and has a fine texture with a wonderful taste. Produces a heavy yield of fruit up to 3.5 kilo per plant. To determine ripeness, just remember that skin color and tone (glossy versus dull) is more important than size of the fruit. Easy to grow. Grows up to 5 ft / 150 cm
