Carrot Nantes 3 is a rich orange colour and has a sweet flavor which makes it popular. Sow from February under cloches in well-drained soil that is stone-free. Keep the soil moist and have access to full sunlight. Early carrots may be harvested from 9 weeks onwards after the sowing date. Do not remove leaves until ready for eating or storage.  Watch out for Carrot fly!
