This is a unique vegetable as it’s a cucumber in the shape of pickle. If you love pickles you would love this cucumber. Pickling cucumber has thin skin with a crunchy texture and is sweet in flavour.  The best time to harvest pickling cornichon is after 12 weeks after planting as it is best for the plant to keep harvesting as new ones will continue growing. Cucumber gherkins are delicious in salads and sandwiches. Cucumber is easy to grow and thrives on well-drained soil and access to sunlight.
