This is a unique vegetable as it’s a cucumber in the shape of pickle. If you love pickles you would love this unique cucumber. Pickling cucumber has thin skin with a crunchy texture and is sweet in flavour. The cucumber gherkin could grow to 6 inches in length and grows on an entwining vine which grows upwards or spread across the ground. The best time to harvest pickling cornichon after 12 weeks after planting as it is best for the plant to keep harvesting as new ones will continue growing. Cucumber gherkins are delicious in salads and sandwiches. Cucumber gherkins are easy to grow and thrives well-drained soil and access to sunlight. The Zefir is highly resistant to disease and produces huge amounts of gherkins at an incredible rate.
