Luna kohlrabi has a round like stems covered with a white and green peel. Luna kohlrabi is tender and fantastic tasting with many minerals like iron and calcium, it is also a wonderful source of vitamin C. Kohlrabi is recommended for direct consumption but can be cooked or steamed. Kohlrabi is a great addition to soups and sauces giving them a original taste. Brassica oleracea var is a early variety with a vegetation period of 75 days. It can be cultivated all year outdoors. Luna Kohlrabi seeds on average germinate within 3-12 days at temperatures ranging from 18C (65F) to 30C (85F).
