Italian Heirloom Leek is an annual vegetable that can grow very tall. Bulgarian Giant has a sweet flavour which is perfect for soups and salads. Italian Vegetable Heirloom has a long stem which is white and green leaves attached. Bulgarian Leeks have really long stems which will impress your neighbours. Italian giant leek is best harvested in October-February for the best sweet flavour. Leek tolerates very hard frost. Leek seeds grows best in rich well drained soil and access to full sunlight.
