Italian Heirloom Leek is an annual vegetable that can grow to different sizes. Mostruoso Di Carentan can be harvested from April-September to receive the best flavours for cooking. Mostruoso Di Carentan has think white stems with blue/green leaves attached. Italian Leeks are mostly used in soups as it has a sweet flavour which also goes well in salads. Italian Heirloom leek seeds grows best in well drained soil and full access to sunlight.
