Pea 'Onward' - 100 seeds (Pisum sativum)
Onward peas are the most commonly grown seeds around the world thanks to their more manageable size, growing up to 30 inches (75 cm) and spreading to 10 inches (25 cm). They also have a high yield, contain up to eight peas and are slightly above average in size. Eaten fresh, they explode with sweet flavour and are very good for freezing. Onward peas should be supported so that the peas don't touch the ground and are easier to harvest once season comes. Pisum sativum is also packed with nutrients having lots of vitamin A, K and vitamin C. They also contain many minerals such as thiamine, folate, manganese, iron, phosphorus and many others. Onward peas should be grown in a full sun position, which will allow the plant to grow at its full potential. This makes the kelavedon pea a perfect addition to your diet.
