This radish is a early-medium variety usually growing within 75-85 days after sowing. Astor radish should be sown directly into the ground. Sow seeds 2 cm deep in 30 x 15 cm spacings and rich loam soil. Root crops are large, grow to 40 cm long, white, mild taste. Used fresh, suitable for long storage and often used in salads and sandwiches.
