Radish Slovana is a unique early radish due to its cylindrical shape and red-white colours. Slovana has a fantastic crunch and a delicate spice to it. This makes these slovana radishes a wonderful addition to salads and sandwiches. Radish is a stunning snack, easy to bring around with a great taste that will positively impact your health as it is full of vitamins and minerals such as magnesium, copper, calcium, folate, vitamin C, B6 and many more. Radishes are a fantastic vegetable to sow thanks to their incredibly fast maturing time, these radishes for instance take between 30-35 days to fully mature. Once you harvest your radishes in their places you can sow things like tomato seeds which will greatly benefit from the rich soil.

Radish Slovana seeds on average germinate within 3 to 14 days, the best germination time occurs at temperatures of around 18°C (65°F). These radishes can be grown all year round, in October once temperature drops to 0°C (32°F) and below you can grow these undercover over winter. Sow seeds directly into soil at a depth of 1cm (1/2in) in a full sun position during March with spacing of 10-20cm (4-8in). Can be grown directly outside until October. 

All radishes are best grown alongside tomatoes, carrots, beans, lettuce, and spinach this will protect the radish from fleas.
