Cucumber - JOGGER F1 - Cucumis sativus An American slicer,  outdoor trials during a poor growing season. Trailing plants produce a good crop of very dark green-skinned, 22-25 cm juicy, but crisp, bitter-free fruits with soft white spines. Seed development is slowly making this variety ideal for slicing into sandwiches and salads.

Sow seeds on the surface of a good, free-draining, damp compost at a depth of about 1 cm (1/2"). For the seeds to germinate quickly and uniformly, cover the seedlings with glass or film.  Temperature 20C is required. When 2-4 true leaves show up, seedlings are transplanted one by one to the permanent place at a distance of 120cm (50") x 20 cm (8") apart.
